Job Title : RN-Acute Care Float-Nights Job Specialty : RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 7p-7a Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Less than 1 year preferred License : Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : Completion of accredited / approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours Job Description : The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care tailored to individual needs.
- Upholds nursing practices as outlined by the Professional Nurse Practice Act, implementing the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards.
- Responsible for performing the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provides patient-centered care that is respectful of cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics.- Engages in effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the patient's goals are prioritized.
- Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration, promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.- Acts as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce, modeling professional nursing practices.
- Promotes evidence-based practice, engaging in nursing research and performance improvement initiatives.- Engages in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
