Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location : Round Rock, TX
Shift : 12-Hour Nights, 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)
Shift Times : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Hourly Rate : $32.00 - $53.00 per hour
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000
Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) night shift team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the care of critically ill patients, including those who are post-operative, ventilator-dependent, post-cardiac arrest, or recovering from complex procedures.
The ICU serves a mixed-acuity population, including Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) patients.
This full-time position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive care to ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering necessary treatments and interventions
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Manage care for high-acuity patients with a 1 : 1 patient-to-nurse ratio and up to 1 : 3 for IMC patients
- Serve as a patient advocate, providing education and emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required, 2 years preferred
