Responsibilities
Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful -acre campus in Philadelphia, PA.
Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults;
and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.
Mental Health Technicians (MHT) at Friends Hospital assist in direct care and management of patients across all age ranges with medical and behavioral issues as directed bytreatment team.
MHT's assist with unit programming by facilitating and conducting groups and ensuring patients are engaged in active treatment at all times.
Assist with daily leisure activities, and all activities associated with daily living within the functional ability of patients and with consideration for the patients level of growth and development.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in an area of human services, which includes, but may not be limited to the following : psychology, sociology, political science, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, elementary / special education, or family therapy.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus 2 years of experience in human service field.
