What you'll do...

Payment Settlement is a backend application, which settles payment transaction and receives funding from different payment providers for different markets.

We are looking for a a backend engineer to join our team to build new and improve existing features to support continuously grow in payment domain.

People Technology is one of the major segments of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Services, which is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and the Associate Digital Experience.

What you'll do :

• Design, develop Java based applications to support Payment Settlement Application.
• Develop applications using Java, Spring framework, Spring batch, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Assist setting up orchestration tools in various cloud environments including PCI private and public clouds.
• Support testing strategies such as unit, integration, end to end, penetration, and stress testing to identify and fix any application bottlenecks.
• Build dashboards, alerts using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, ... to monitor applications.
• Ensure overall integration of the system through collaboration with other engineering teams.
• Provide rapid response and solution options to customers on blocking issues.
• Provide support to relevant stakeholders / program managers to driveadherence to performance metrics of the program for different projects.
• Provide inputs to improve the throughput, efficiency, and effectiveness of programs.

What you'll bring :

• At least 3 years' experience working related to backend application.
• At least 3 years' experience with Java, Spring, Spring batch, SQL Database, and Kafka
• Have knowledge of-based /
• Good communication skills.
• Can work independently as well as in the teams.

Bellevue, Washington US-11075 : The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-04396 : The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Option 2 : 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
