Key Responsibilities :

Signal Processing Algorithm Development :

Design and implement digital signal processing algorithms for audio enhancement, including noise reduction, echo cancellation, beamforming, and equalization.

Conduct research and experimentation to develop innovative signal processing techniques to address specific challenges in acoustic environments.

Acoustic Modeling and Simulation :

Develop mathematical models and simulations of acoustic systems and environments to analyze and optimize signal processing algorithms.

Use simulation tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) to simulate and evaluate the performance of signal processing algorithms.

Prototype Development and Testing :

Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate signal processing algorithms into audio processing systems and platforms.

Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of prototypes in real-world conditions and refine algorithms as needed.

Algorithm Optimization and Performance Enhancement :

Optimize signal processing algorithms for efficiency, speed, and memory usage to meet performance requirements and constraints.

Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations.

Documentation and Reporting :

Document algorithm designs, implementation details, and test results in technical reports and presentations.

Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Acoustics, or related field.

1+ years of experience in digital signal processing, with a focus on audio signal processing and acoustics.

Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and other signal processing tools and software.

Strong programming skills in languages such as C / C++, Python, or MATLAB for algorithm development and prototyping.

Familiarity with audio processing technologies and standards (e.g., MPEG, AAC, Dolby, DTS).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
