Position summary

T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all.

Product Managers, Technical located in Bellevue, WA will be responsible for the technical strategy of Lease Accounting products and can translate the needs of our users into a comprehensive product roadmap.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Own end-to-end lifecycle for lease accounting products or features, including creating, maintaining, and communicating product vision, capabilities, and roadmap using AgileCraft and Jira.

Drive product backlog user story grooming and planning sessions, partnering with internal and vendor resources and delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies, and Jira and AgileCraft technical tools to deliver complex enterprise-scale business and technology initiatives.

Design, model, and test various Lease Accounting scenarios, including implementation of Commercial Real Estate and Assetbased leases and associated calculations using enterprise-grade Lease Accounting software solutions, including Aptitude Lease Accounting Engine.

Implement FASB ASC 842 standards for various leasing scenarios, including enterprise-wide Commercial Real Estate and Asset based leases.

Recognize and communicate technical challenges to stakeholders and make educated trade-off decisions with the team.

Simplify and articulate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Build data-backed KPIs, metrics, and business cases for products, features, and experiences that will have measurable impact to the T-Mobile Accounting business.

Research, understand, and draw insights on customers' needs by participating in user groups and product conferences, and conducting data analysis.

Maintain efficient flow of user story elaboration activities throughout team execution, typically maintaining two iterations of user stories available and ready in the product backlog using Jira.

Utilize strong analytical and data manipulation skills with demonstrated ability to identify and synthesize product use data using large volume of data with at least 15 million records.

Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Skill requirements :

  • 1) Implementing FASB ASC 842 standards for various leasing scenarios, including enterprise-wide Commercial Real Estate and Asset based leases;
  • 2) Eliciting requirements, grooming user stories, and communicating complex technical challenges to multiple stakeholders to build data-backed KPIs, metrics, and business cases for products and features supporting enterprise-wide accounting systems;
  • 3) Using Agile backlog and project management tools Jira and AgileCraft to deliver complex enterprise scale business and technology initiatives;

4) Analyzing data using SQL to identify and synthesize product use data using at least 15 million rows of data; and

5) Driving entire lifecycle of enterprise products that span and interface with other systems such as SAP Accounts Payable, Lease Administration systems such as Costar and Siterra.

Experience and education requirements :

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS : Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

OTHER : Work hours : 40 hours / week. Washington Pay Range : $174,117.00 - $181,800.00 / year.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and / or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.

Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and / or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
