Job Summary

Coordinate, lead and perform building services for assigned area. Included are services related to general maintenance, safety, emergency preparedness, custodial, space planning, construction and preventive maintenance.

This position will interact on a consistent basis with : building occupants, other building services personnel and vendors.

This position typically will advise and counsel : building occupants, other building services personnel and vendors. This position will supervise : N / A.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -

Serve as main point of contact for building issues including general maintenance, safety, emergency preparedness, custodial, space planning, construction and preventive maintenance activities.

Job Duty 2 -

Perform routine rounds to address safety, maintenance and other building issues.

Job Duty 3 -

Lead, perform or coordinate general maintenance repairs / assembly.

Job Duty 4 -

Provide coordination to vendors in performance preventive and reactive maintenance to technical building systems including plumbing, electrical system, HVAC / mechanical systems, etc.

Job Duty 5 -

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience

Four to six years of job related experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Experience in maintenance field.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS

This job requires working knowledge of building operation and maintenance services and related areas of building operation including emergency preparedness and safety.

Skills in work leadership, customer service, communications and use of office related computer applications is required.
