Responsibilities
The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a full time Nurse Manager to join our team of Behavioral Health Professionals.
The Nursing Manager manages the delivery of quality psychiatric nursing care to their assigned unit under the leadership of the Director of Nursing The Nurse Manager will directly supervise ten or more employees in their respective departments accountable to this position.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning / assigning work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees and address complaints to solve problems. Assures the unit milieu is therapeutic and physically safe and secure at all times.
The Vines Hospital , located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting.
Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

Qualifications
Education :
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing or five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Two (2) years in supervision required.
- Prefer two (2) in psychiatric nursing.
- Knowledge of current nursing procedures, nursing functions, nursing process, and medications.
- FL Nursing License Required.
