BlackRock Resources is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our client's team in Western Pennsylvania. The Structural Engineer will work on a wide range of projects, including structural steel and concrete foundations.
You must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
No C2C or 3rd parties, please.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, calculate and analyze structural steel and foundations for industrial equipment and pressure vessels
Create structural models by using computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, Plant 3D and / or Inventor)
Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
Track and report on project progress
Collaborate with contractors and project managers
Qualifications :
10+ years of relevant experience in design, calculation and analysis of structural steel and foundations for industrial equipment and pressure vessels used in chemical plant facilities
Active EIT certification; PE but not required
Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD (required)
Experience with AutoPlant 3D (); Inventor a plus
Experience using STAAD structural analysis software a plus.
Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
