This job description outlines the objective, primary responsibilities and requirements and qualifications of the Full-time Nurse.

Objective : To manage other part time / prn nurses and to oversee the care of veteran clients perform nursing assessments, and write, monitor, and update care plans for clients in collaboration with Client Services Manager.
A company car will be provided .

Pleasant, Charleston, North Charleston, Hanahan, Awendaw, Cordesville, Goose Creek, Huger, Isle of Palms, Jamestown, McClellanville, Sullivans Island, Bowman, Cameron, Cordova, Elloree, Eutawville, Holly Hill, Orangburg, Saint Matthews, Santee, Summerton, Vance, Bonneau, Cottageville, Cross, Dorchester, Harleyville, Ladson, Moncks Corner, Pineville, Pinpolis, Reevesville, Ridgeville, Saint George, Saint Stephen, and Summerville.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :
- Complete all documentation for nursing assessments, observations, and planning evaluation pertaining to clients
- Coordinate with management on implementing and revising operational procedures related to quality client care
- Utilize professional assessment skills to identify physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of client and be able to develop a care plan to meet these needs in a multi- disciplinary approach
- Act on client’s behalf to assure patient rights
- Be aware of home safety issues, strive to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe
manner, and consistently reinforce good safety attitude and practices displayed by other staff members

Qualifications
- Able to work as a team member
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Able to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and clients’ families
- Able to handle occasional physical and verbal mistreatment from clients in an
appropriate professional manner at all times
- Able to supervise (instruct, assign work, etc.) nursing assistants
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, and possess
excellent client interaction skills
Able to multi-task and work independently
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of science in nursing
- Current RN licensure
- Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of Nursing
