The impact you will have in this role :
Directs, supervises and assists in business analysis and documenting requirements of sophisticated product management initiatives with a primary focus on DTCC Equity Clearance and Settlement business which may include regulatory, compliance, industry relations and client experience driven projects.
The role also includes coordinating with cross-functional resources to achieve project objectives. The Product Manager requires keen business analysis and communication skills to draft and present business requirements to both internal and external partners.
You should be proficient in depicting and describing business impact assessments between current-state and various future state business models.
The position entails leading multiple internal partner meetings and representing the Company and assigned Department in various industry led forums on projects and new initiatives.
The role also includes facilitating and leading external working groups composed of major industry participants that help advise on requirements and design options.
Your Primary Responsibilities :
- Work with the product management lead and business to deliver on specific prioritized and budgeted initiatives.
- Collaborate with product management peers to ensure standard methodology and core principals are understood, adopted and implemented.
Collaborate with client support teams and technology partners (both Application Development and Enterprise Infrastructure) on delivering new capabilities and improvements.
- Facilitate and lead external working groups and other relevant subject matter working groups including industry advisory councils.
- Manage achievement of project deliverables and coordinate the efforts of a variety of functional areas to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget and within a quality framework.
Monitor project budgets for specific initiatives / projects. Identify potential risks to achieving project objectives and elevate to appropriate management.
Document requirements and provide feedback on requirements documents that may impact their initiatives or product offerings.
This will also include analysis of projects that have not yet been budgeted but may be in scope for future Book of Work inclusion.
- Ensures the product development methodology process is followed, i.e., ensures stage-gate process is followed (specific DTCC internal methodology).
- Expected to be an SME in many areas of Product, including regulatory and industry related projects and, where required, to attend meetings with clients to help with product area of expertise.
- Assist in product training efforts for all touchpoints to both internal and external customers, including documentation, publications, E Training tools, FAQ's.
- Requires skills and techniques to deliver products that align with the organization's product team and product strategy.
- Involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure governance and compliance with regulations related to product and data usage.
- Creative and analytical approach with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms to drive product initiatives with insights and solutions.

Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
