• Regular Company : Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department : Ambulatory Services - Float Pool Time Type : Full time Weekly Hours : 40 FTE : 1 Shift : First Shift (United States of America) Summary : Performs patient care, health teaching and health counseling in an oncology setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN);
• assists in the goal of individualizing the care of patients in an attempt to support the patients to adapt to the disease process and achieve the highest level of wellness;
• performs routine nursing care procedures; screens, performs venipuncture and monitors plateletpheresis and whole blood donor procedures;

maintains donor and product safety ensuring compliance with State and Federal procedure regulations; enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.

Salary range $58,046 - $70,317 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications : Required Education and Experience

License Requirement

License or permit to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.

Education and Experience

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school's LPN program.

NOTE :

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
