Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)- Part Time and Full Time Position Available
Requirements :
- Preferred SPORTS, EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY, or EXERCISE SCIENCE background.
- Must have valid Physical Therapy Assistant license / certificate in the state in which applying for work.
- Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Exceptional patient therapy skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
- Open to treat patients through the entire lifespan
- Team oriented
Additional Qualifications Needed :
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Job Description :
- Preparing for each patient’s therapy
- Assisting in the transportation of patients when moving to or from a treatment area
- Reading patient evaluations
- Being very familiar with the Plan of Care the physical therapist set in place for any given patient and, if need be, relaying any concerns about the Plan of Care
- Administering balance and muscle strength tests
- Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength or decrease or prevent deformity.
- Record prognosis, treatment, response and progress in patient's chart or computer database.
- Stay up to date on continuing education and attend continuing education courses
- Help implement and or execute the marketing plan.

Pay : $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
