About the Opportunity

DMI, LLCis seeking a Senior Database Management Specialist to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities :

A. Ensure all production databases' operational reliability, integrity, and performance.

B. Perform back-up and recovery of existing databases, performance monitoring, and tuning.

C. Perform database installations and upgrades and ensure the security of confidential data.

D. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions along with periodic maintenance, fixes, and

patches of databases.

E. Perform business needs analysis, write reporting requirements, and turn requirements into delivered

solutions.

F. Assist users in writing complex queries and reports.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience : A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science,

Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Required and Desired Skills / Certifications :

A. At least three years of experience using current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing

various database management systems, and experience with DBMS internals.

B. Must have five years of experience in DBMS systems analysis and programming.

Min Citizenship Status Required : H 1B

Physical Requirements : No Physical requirement needed for this position .

Location : MSDE 200 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Remote Telework is permissible.
