Production Supervisor - Morning & Afternoon ShiftOverview
We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor on day shift and another opportunity for an afternoon shift at our facility located in Montgomery, IL, 60538.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees in a lean manufacturing environment. They will coach, assist, and coordinate the production efforts necessary to deliver quality products in a safe and efficient manner to meet the production schedule.
This position will supervise a team that works Monday - Friday from 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm or 3 : 30pm - 12 : 00am and an occasional Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the manning and day to day manufacturing operations for bearings components.
- Ensure a safe and clean work area and adhere to the company quality and environmental policies.
- Work closely with employees to ensure the policy and procedures are being followed.
- Train, counsel and manage hourly employee performance.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment and resolve conflict as needed.
- Identify, support, and / or manage continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required. An associates / bachelor ’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or similar preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and people oriented.
- Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision scheduling employees in a production environment.
- Takes a proactive approach in anticipating, identifying, and solving problems and makes necessary changes so problems do not occur in the future.

Salary info : $33.65 - $38.46 / hr
