Position Overview :
The company is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee the month-end closing process, including the detailed preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy.
- Manage the full range of accounting operations, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense tracking, while adhering to internal controls and compliance guidelines.
- Execute detailed analysis of general ledger accounts, including individual transactions to identify discrepancies, and providing insights to enhance financial performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete financial reporting and analysis, making recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
- Champion process improvement initiatives, leveraging automation tools and implementing best practices to streamline accounting workflows.
- Mentor and advise junior team members on complex accounting matters.
- Serve as a liaison for external audits, preparing audit schedules and managing audit inquiries.
- Drive special projects and initiatives as directed by senior management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2-4 years of combined public accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred.
- CPA certification or experience working for a public accounting firm required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Compensation :
- Competitive salary based on experience ($90,000-$100,000)
