Central Compensation Governance and Operations, Analyst
Job Description
The Central Compensation Governance and Operations Team supports the Compensation function, during Non-Annual and Annual cycles, by centrally managing activities that span across the Cash Compensation Teams.
The Central Compensation Governance and Operations Analyst will perform various activities, including but not limited to, owning and managing Firmwide initiatives, implementing and improving new and existing compensation practices and processes, developing analytics and reporting and coordinating and administering annual planning activities.
A successful Analyst on the Central Compensation Governance and Operations Team will be a highly motivated self-starter who has strong technical and project management skills and who takes accountability for and owns processes from end to end.
The Analyst will also create an inclusive and supportive environment and be a trusted advisor to our Global partners on Compensation practices and processes.
Job responsibilities :
- Delivery of Compensation operational processes including Replacement Awards, bonuses, Special Awards etc.
- Partner with our Risk and Control partners to assess current processes and identify areas of improvement to help develop future state design
- Create and update standard operating procedures and training documents
- Provide compensation support during the annual year-end process
- Manage projects involving compensation, including but not limited to policy reviews, changes in compensation practices, and development of system enhancements
- Actively drive focus on standardization, streamlining processes, and efficiencies
- Be a trusted advisor on practices and policies for HR colleagues and lines of business, with a strong focus on compensation administration
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Bachelor's Degree, or 3+ years of experience preferably within Compensation, Human Resources, Operations, or Finance
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Detail and results oriented with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, within a fast-paced team environment, where strong organizational skills are required
- Strong client / stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge and experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HR Systems a plus : Business Objects and PeopleSoft
- Innovation and creativity to bring new ideas to the team
