Description
- Project Planning and Coordination :
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Budget and Cost Management :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Monitor project costs, including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses, to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Schedule Management :
- Create and maintain project schedules to track progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Anticipate potential delays or obstacles and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Quality Assurance and Safety :
- Implement quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Client Communication :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues that may arise.
- Team Leadership :
- Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to achieve project goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to high performance and growth.
- Risk Management :
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Implement contingency plans as needed to address unforeseen circumstances.
Profile
- A minimum of 10 years experience full-time as a Project Manager for vertical construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in healthcare and / or higher education sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
