We are seeking an experienced individual to join Credit Risk Management Services group to partner with each of our core capabilities as we work to transform the lending operating model.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting transaction lifecycle activities, establishing processes and procedures to align with policies, and working with technology to enhance system controls.

You will be supported by the partnership of our global team and the surrounding wholesale lending franchise.

The Risk Operations Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function.

Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach / taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.

Requires excellent analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new staff.

Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and / or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.

Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs checker function for assigned systems or team for the 12pm to 9pm shift
  • Monitors credit / risk exposure relative to credit limits established
  • Monitors and reports various obligor and product level credit limits and risk appetite metrics like credit exposure, concentration risk, cross-border risk
  • Reviews credit facilities and documentation for changes
  • Ensures risk exposure is accurately reflected in various risk applications
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications :

  • 2 - 5 years relevant experience
  • Credit or Risk Management experience would be an added advantage
  • Proven ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Exceptional organization and process management ability.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, with tight and changeable timeframe, while still maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced analytical skills and time management skills, excellent attention to details
  • Advanced technical skills including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
