About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Could be any of these shifts depending on the day : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM;
5 x 8-hour days with 12-15 days of on-call duty and 1-2 weekends per month on call Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Ability to be flexible with shift timings and on-call availability Job Description : Provide skilled nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Perform and assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to treatment during procedures.- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile environment within the lab.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions.- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, as needed to ensure coverage.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities in a high-pressure environment.- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
