Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Sous Chef at Feast Your Eyes Catering in Philadelphia, PA. The Junior Sous will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, as well as overseeing a specific shifts of the kitchen or on events.
They need to posses leadership skills to be a head chef on key events and manage shifts. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, advanced problem solving and the ability to work in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Qualifications
- 4-5 Years of Kitchen experience in restaurants, banquets, or catering
- Culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Knowledge of different global cuisines and cooking techniques
- Organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow recipes and culinary directions accurately
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
- Food safety and sanitation knowledge
