The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Construction Project Manager to oversee the fit-out phase of large-scale data center construction projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of interior construction, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a strong understanding of data center infrastructure, close coordination with stakeholders, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the fit-out phase of data center construction, including coordination of interiors, partitions, ceilings, flooring, mechanical, electrical, and architectural finishes.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for the fit-out work, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure that all fit-out work meets design specifications and client expectations.
• Manage day-to-day site operations during the fit-out stage, including problem-solving and resource allocation.
• Ensure that all fit-out work complies with building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that the fit-out work meets the necessary quality standards.
• Coordinate with the client, owners’ representatives, and other key stakeholders to communicate project progress and address any concerns.
• Manage project change orders, RFIs, and project documentation related to the fit-out phase.
• Ensure timely handover and commissioning of fit-out areas, ensuring all punch list items are resolved.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on fit-out or interior build-outs (data center experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interior construction processes, including partitions, flooring, MEP systems, and finishes.
• Proven track record of managing fit-out projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and how they integrate with interior fit-out work.

Preferred qualifications :

• PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• OSHA 30 certification (required).
• LEED or relevant certification is a plus.
