Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer, Ruby to design, develop, and maintain Ruby microservices for consumer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop highly scalable and reliable Ruby microservices

Architect and implement backend systems focusing on high availability and scalability

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

8+ years of backend engineering experience with large-scale applications

Expert knowledge of Ruby and its ecosystems

Proficient in database design and management, especially with PostgreSQL

Experience with middleware technologies, specifically Redis
