Job Description Summary

Be a part of our team (remote / Chicago area preferred) where we design innovative, AI-integrated B2B and B2C solutions that are shaping the future of the industry.
As our talented User Experience Designer, you will create exceptional product designs for major players in the market, utilizing user-centered design principles across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
Collaborate with a dynamic team of passionate UX designers, design strategists, researchers, and UI designers, expanding your skills across diverse verticals.
We're looking for creative problem-solver who is self-driven and can contribute to a wide array of products.
Job Duties
- Develop and manage timelines and UX activities for your projects.
- Ability to communicate professionally, handling the business side of the design process.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and define the problem to be solved and work with extended teams to develop requirements / functionality.
- Create compelling representations (prototypes, interaction flows, storyboards, etc.) of solutions for web and mobile-based experiences;
bring simplicity and cohesion to complex challenges. Your designs won't just look pretty they'll drive results.
- Present your work to multiple teams, including non-design audiences, with the ability to advocate for your design decisions.
- Quickly iterate based on stakeholder and user feedback.
- Prepare and run collaborative workshops and brainstorming sessions.
- Conduct research through stakeholder interviews, market research, analytics, observation, surveys, etc., with the ability to hone in on critical success factors.
- Plan, manage, and perform usefulness and usability testing (remote / local).
- Willingness to travel for field research and collaborative brainstorming sessions (up to 3 weeks per quarter)
- Work with UI designers and front-end developers, providing clear guidance for implementation and through QA with the development team.
- Stay current on emerging industry trends, providing insights on ways to improve the experience of our product suite.
- Foster a continuous learning mindset and always push for collaboration within the design team and across the org.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience working as a UX designer on digital products.
- Experience working on complex web applications or enterprise systems preferred.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
- Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma
- Proficiency in mapping journeys and flows
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Case studies (web links or PDFs) illustrating your user-centered design skills, such as sketches, mock-ups, prototypes, flows, scenarios, personas, user research, etc.
We want to see your thought process not just pretty pictures.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work closely with stakeholders (engineering, product) and external (customer / user) audiences.
- Experience with mixed research methods a plus
- Chicago preferred but not mandatory
- MUST provide a link to an online portfolio with digital design work examples and / or case studies. Please note that case studies must showcase work completed as part of a full-time job.
