Duties Include :
- Must be an RN with valid license;
- Develop and implement infection control protocol;
- Supervise isolation precautions and practices;
- Plan and implement organized in-service, orientation, and training programs;
- Interpret infection control policies and procedures as necessary;
- Make rounds with physicians as necessary;
- Monitor medication passes and treatments to assure that proper techniques are being followed;
- Provide training and in-service support for nursing assistants in their role functions;
- Must be knowledgeable of federal, state, and company guidelines.
