Role Location

Automatic Door Installer & Technician in Fremont, California.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, install, and adjust automatic swinging and sliding commercial doors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial door hardware and access control systems.
  • Complete paperwork accurately (work orders, quality assurance check sheets) and walk the customer through services rendered on each job.
  • Maintain good customer relations and provide strong customer service.
  • Use basic power tools (provided by the company).

Requirements

  • Excellent problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Must be an active member of the NorCal Carpenters Union or willing to join.
  • Base pay range is based on the NorCal Carpenters Union Wage Scale : $34.88 - $64.01 Per Hour.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the commercial door industry.
  • AADM certification or working experience with automatic doors, storefront doors, and electrified hardware.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and integration with card access systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
  • Proficiency with power and hand tools and safe work practices.
  • Physical requirements : ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, lift up to 100 pounds, and perform related activities.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
