Seeking a Part Time Locums General Surgery NursePractitioner in Syracuse, NY. This part-time positionrequires availability from Friday to Sunday, with shifts running from 7 : 00 AMto 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
The physician assistant will handle 3-7surgical cases per day. The primaryduties include conducting pre-op physical exams, removing sutures, diagnosingand treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting insurgeries, and writing prescriptions.
The physician assistant will also beresponsible for coordinating patient care. The role demands a strong backgroundin laparoscopic, open, and robotic procedures, as well as experience insurgical inpatient settings.
Requirements :
- Strong background in laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgeries
- Minimum 3 years of surgical inpatient experience and robotics experience
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Ability to work with patients aged 16 and older
- RNFA & FNP
- ACLS
- Active New York State license
