Full-time Nutrition Assistant

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time Nutrition Assistant to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission : Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.

Our Nutrition Assistant plays an essential role in the Dietary Department, ensuring patients and staff enjoy healthy and delicious meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for cooking, food preparation, assembling patient trays, preparing the buffet line, operating the cash register, washing dishes, and assisting patients and customers as needed. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.

At MRHS, we strive to promote a positive work-life balance and design our schedules accordingly. This full-time position offers a varied schedule that could include both day and evening shifts, with rotation of weekends and holidays.

Working conditions include a clean, well-lighted environment with long periods of standing and frequent repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and wrist / hand activity. The position requires the ability to lift 10–35 lbs. and involves working with standard kitchen equipment, with possible exposure to minor hazards such as heat, sharp objects, and electrical appliances.
