Description :

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Assists in directing the strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs.

Represents the organization at meetings, conferences and other events.

May develop and present speeches or presentations to generate or enhance awareness of program(s).

Provides technical support by evaluating established processes, conducting training, attending operational meetings and networking with affiliated groups.

Monitors progress toward achieving established objectives and deadlines.

Participates in planning, administering and monitoring program related budgets.

Conducts research, designs new initiatives, and collaborates with others to ensure program(s) remain viable.

May serve on, hold office in, or chair committees.

May write publishable articles and papers.

May supervise staff.

Oversees or assists in developing operational and statistical reports for management and regulatory agencies.

Ensures required records and documentation are maintained.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS :

Develops and coordinates program-related events, including scheduling, catering, transportation, and logistics.

May work with faculty or external constituencies, for example, healthcare and education, to develop instructional materials (both continuing education and / or for university credit) for delivery in traditional face-to-face and / or web / app-based environments.

May research and develop case studies for delivery using novel approaches, including computer and distance learning technologies.

May work in collaboration with multimedia developers.

May assist faculty or external constituents in integrating instructional technologies into their teaching and training.

May evaluate and recommend new instructional methods and associated technology.

May instruct students, faculty, and staff in the selection and use of appropriate instructional methods and associated technologies.

May serve as training facilitator as needed.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s) and five years of program related experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Professional demeanor with exceptional organization, written and oral communication skills.

Ability to interact well and relate well to people including having a strong customer service orientation.

Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail with strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team; develop productive working relationships with multiple constituencies (i.

e., faculty, staff, students, healthcare providers, and patients / families).

NOTE : Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
