What you’ll do on a typical day :
- Sales Data Analysis : Analyze sales data, including pipeline, performance metrics, and forecasts, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Forecasting and Planning : Assist in the development of sales forecasts and annual operating plans based on historical performance, market trends, and business goals.
- Sales Reporting : Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports for management, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies.
- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales organization.
- Sales Performance Metrics : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, monitoring performance against targets and benchmarks.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats .
What you need to succeed at GXO :
At a minimum, you’ll need :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 2 years of professional experience in Sales Operations or similar roles
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Salesforce, or PowerBI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment .
