We distribute vast amounts of video content to users through systems like the "For You" page recommendations. To achieve this goal, we build robust backend systems and maintain their consistencyOur team collaborates with the product and data teams to develop diverse product features and content distribution strategies, helping users discover a variety of video content, as well as helping diverse video content be discovered by more users.
Responsibilities : - Build intuitive and reliable backend services for TikTok's feeds infrastructure.- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
Collaborate with product management and R&D teams globally in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications : - 3+ years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one programming language like Java / Golang / Python.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.- Ability to collaborate across different functional teams or stakeholder groups internally and externally.
- Exhibit good problem-solving skills and team communication / collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- Highly self-driven with strong people skills, and able to collaborate with a wide range of clients and internal partners to independently identify and address key issues and optimization opportunities.
- Creative problem solver who can thrive with minimal instruction or supervision.
