Syndeo Staffing has an immediate opening for a Water Meter Readers for the City of Wichita. These duties will include digging, filling holes, replacing rebar & meter boxes, and assisting the crew with any other manual labor tasks necessary to complete the project.
Responsibilities :
- Read water meters on an assigned route and record readings.
- Inspect water meters and makes notes of leaks or repairs needed.
- Repair and / or install water meters or water meter components as required.
- Provide information or refer customers to the appropriate office for assistance as needed.
Requirements :
- Previous customer service and / or or route / delivery driver experience preferred.
- Active drivers license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background and MVR).
Schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
Pay : $13.77 / hour
