This post-doctoral position focuses on nuclear and mitochondrial replication instability pathways as they pertain to fundamental understanding of cancer etiology and therapy response.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Gain knowledge and expertise in nuclear and mitochondrial replication instability pathways as they pertain to fundamental understanding of cancer etiology and therapy response.
- Prepare, submit, and obtain fellowship application
- Prepare submit and publish research manuscripts.
- Participation and presentation in weekly lab meetings and educational activities, including weekly departmental social hour, departmental journal club, local and national conferences.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
PhD and or MD degree is required. Expertise or strong interest in mitochondrial or nuclear DNA replication stability mechanisms through in vivo and in vitro methodology.
Desire to perform high impact research.
