As a GCP DevOps you will :

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and cost-effective GCP infrastructure solutions. Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management.
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform products and services. Optimize and fine-tune GCP services to meet performance and cost-efficiency goals.
• Design, implement, and manage CI / CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD. Automate testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Stackdriver or Prometheus and Grafana. Create alerts and dashboards for system health and performance.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Collaborate with IT security teams and solution architects for any security-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues promptly. Continuously optimize and improve the GCP environment for performance and cost efficiency.
• Advanced cloud technologies and proactively recommend tools that can add value to businesses.
• Improved security architecture for building, migration, and operation of cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have :

• 8+yrs of experience in Cloud DevOps work, using Terraform.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in cloud / DevOps engineering.
• Demonstrable knowledge of cloud service provider (specifically GCP), infrastructure build, and configurations
• Experience with Linux and / or Windows administration and scripting
• Experience in designing and managing CI / CD pipelines and continuous testing tools.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages, including Python, Bash, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP products and services.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) development.
• Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in automation scripting using languages like Terraform, Ansible etc.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and infrastructure
• Proficiency in Google security and compliance tools like IAM, KMS, Resource Manager etc.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Knowledge of networking principles and protocols
• Understanding of application monitoring using Google Stackdriver
• Basic idea of Big Data on GCP BigQuery, Dataproc, Data lake and Dataflow services.
• Knowledge on GCP cloud functions & Cloud storage services
• Knowledge on Debezium connectors for GCP.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
• Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills.

Good to have skills :

Nagios, New Relic, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, ELK Monitoring for application logs, ELK watcher’s configuration, SonarQube, WebLogic, Gitea, GKE Engine, GitLab, Bamboo

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range* : 96,500-113,500

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
