ClarifiStaffing Solutions is seeking a highly qualified collaborativecandidate to join our partnership with an esteemed Georgia StateSchool district and deliver specialized occupational therapyservices to ourstudents.
Theclient is seeking a candidate available for full time hours. Theywould prefer someone with previous School Early Childhood orPediatric Experience.
The schedule will provide guaranteed hours.
Responsibilitiesinclude :
Assist in the identification of students in need of physicaltherapy through screening andevaluations.
Evaluate and treat individual children to develop actions inperformance skills. The occupational therapist deals with bothphysical and social development and is concerned with childrensability to accomplish tasks related to their developmentalprogress.
Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in designingand implementing effective treatment programs as determined by thestudents individual educationalplan.
Relate the educational significance of occupational therapytreatments toward assisting in the students fullest potential andeducationalgrowth.
Plan and implement an occupational therapy program for identifiedchildren to achieve necessary goals within the educationalsetting.
Develop implement and evaluate IEPs that focus on assessment dataand evaluated student progress using a databased decisionmakingmodel.
Provide consultation and advisory services to the childs familyhealth care agencies and community organizations asneeded.
Consult with the students physician concerning the studentsoccupational therapy program.
Consult instruct and monitor the student family and othereducational staff in occupational therapy procedures asneeded.
Maintain appropriate written records and reports for each childserved and / orassessed.
Requirements
- Masters in OccupationalTherapy.
- GAOccupational Therapy licenserequired.
- Onsiteservicesrequired.
