Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developerwith at least 6 years of experience to join our team. You will playa key role in designing developing and maintaining modernresponsive and accessible Internal Developer Platform (IDP)applications.

You will also be responsible for automatinginfrastructure and application processes hosting solutions onKubernetes and ensuring the uptime and performance of thesystems.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Design andDevelopment :
• Design develop and maintainresponsive and accessible IDP applications that meet the needs ofinternal developers.
• Create efficient andreusable frontend systems and abstractions that drive complex webapplications.
• Work with stakeholders to convertbusiness requirements into technicalspecifications.
• Implement and follow bestpractices for software development including coding standards codereviews source control management andtesting.
• Automation :
• Automate infrastructure andapplication golden paths making them easy for developers toconsume.
• Work on improving the overalldeveloper experience by automating manual processes and reducingtime to production.
• Implement CI / CD pipelinesusing common tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
• InternalDeveloper Portal (IDP) :
• Develop and maintain ourinternal developer portal using Backstage or an equivalentplatform.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team toensure smooth integration with existing systems andworkflows.
• Customize the developer portal tomeet the specific needs of internal teams including onboardingdocumentation and toolintegrations.
• KubernetesHosting and Maintenance :
• Host the IDP solution onKubernetes ensuring high availability scalability andsecurity.
• Take ownership of the Kubernetesenvironment including its deployment configuration and ongoingmanagement.
• Monitor and maintain the uptime andperformance of the hosted applications implementing necessaryimprovements.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely withcrossfunctional teams including DevOps Security and ProductManagement to deliver highqualitysolutions.
• Communicate effectively withtechnical and nontechnical stakeholders providing regular updateson project status and addressing anyconcerns.
• Mentor and provide guidance to juniordevelopers fostering a culture of continuous learning andimprovement.

RequiredQualifications :

• Experience : Minimum of 6 years of experience in full stack development with astrong focus on building and deploying applications on modernplatforms.
• Internal DeveloperPlatform Tools : Experience working with Backstage orany other Internal Developer Platform (IDP) tools isessential.
• Kubernetes : Handson experience with Kubernetes including deployment scaling andmaintenance ofapplications.
• DeveloperExperience : A deep understanding of patterns andprinciples that enhance developer experience including automationCI / CD and toolintegrations.
• FrontEndTechnologies : Proficient in JavaScript HTML CSS andmodern frontend frameworks (e.g. React AngularVue.js).
• BackEndTechnologies : Strong knowledge of Python Go and Javafor backend development including API design andintegration.
• Databases : Experience with databases such as MongoDB Redis and Oracleincluding schema design querying and performanceoptimization.
• CI / CDTools : Familiarity with common CI / CD tools likeJenkins Argo CD and others with experience in setting up andmaintaining pipelines.

PreferredQualifications :

• Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure andfamiliarity with their services and deploymentmodels.
• DevOpsPractices : Knowledge of DevOps practices includinginfrastructure as code (IaC) containerization and microservicesarchitecture.
• ProblemSolving : Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability todiagnose and resolve complex technicalissues.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborateeffectively in a remote teamenvironment.
• AgileMethodologies : Familiarity with Agile methodologiesincluding Scrum or Kanban and experience working in an Agileenvironment.
