Job Description :
- Provide nursing care to a variety of ICU patients, including those with cardiac, neurological, surgical, and medical conditions.
- Manage patients with STEMI, post-heart cath interventions, respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, post-stroke care, renal failure, hypertensive emergency, sepsis, and critical care needs.
- Utilize skills in vent care, hemodynamic monitoring, medication titrations, arterial lines, and various advanced medical equipment (IABP, Impella, EKOS, CRRT, Swan Ganz catheter, FloTrac monitoring).
- Deliver care in diverse ICU environments such as CVICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and Surgical ICU.
- Support patient needs with advanced medical techniques including ECMO, chest tubes, central lines, wound care, and CRRT.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 2 and collaborate with support staff (CNA, phlebotomy, IV / VAT team, hospitalists).
- Participate in a positive and dynamic team environment, contributing to efficient patient care turnover, especially in busy units.
- Adhere to scheduling, including weekend rotations, holiday expectations, and required orientations.
- Ensure proficient use and management of technology / equipment such as Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Spacelabs monitors.
- Be adaptable to float within various patient care units per requirement.
- Follow dress code, wearing any color scrubs, and share insights into parking arrangements.
