Job Requirements :
- Reports to the Director of Case Management.
- Must be a Florida RN. 2-4 years recent acute care experience required. Experience in utilization chart review and discharge planning.
- Managed care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of InterQual Criteria.
- Strong clinical background needed with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.

Qualifications
Role and Responsibilities
Ensures appropriate utilization of hospital services as well as developing a discharge plan and all appropriate services in timely manner.
Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Works with the stroke patient and family for discharge planning and treatment based on needs, condition and prognosis of patient.
Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training
