About the Role :
Were seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a short-term contract role.
This position requires an RN with recent experience in cardiovascular care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment.
Youll deliver compassionate and expert care to patients in critical cardiac conditions.
Your Mission :
Direct Patient Care : Provide comprehensive care to patients in the CVICU, monitoring and managing complex cardiovascular cases.
Assessments & Documentation : Conduct assessments, manage care plans, and ensure accurate and timely charting.
Collaboration : Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
Standards of Care : Uphold hospital and healthcare standards by providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Core Competencies :
Proficiency in cardiovascular intensive care and critical patient monitoring.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to make swift, evidence-based decisions in high-pressure situations.
What You Bring :
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of recent experience (within the last 3 years) in cardiovascular or intensive care.
Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure & Certification : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Skills : Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and recent experience in progressive or intermediate care units.
Schedule & Shift Details :
Work Schedule : Full-time, 36 hours per week.
