Minimum of 5+years of experience in Tax - either in public accounting or industry Proficiency in ATX Tax Software, CCH ProSystem Fx, and other compliance tools. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate tax compliance, including multi-state, international, payroll, property, and sales / use tax. Experience preparing annual income tax provisions and conducting tax research and planning. CPA certification required. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams. Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities to handle complex financial operations. Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external advisors.

Our client, a fast growing, privately held company in downtown Houston is looking for a Tax Manager with 5+ years of experience and a CPA to lead their tax operations across North America.

🔍 What You’ll Do :
- Oversee tax compliance in the U.S. & Canada to include indirect tax (sales & Use, property, etc.)
- Lead tax planning, reporting, and provision prep
- Advise on M& A, transfer pricing, and cross-border strategy
- Manage tax audits, filings, and payroll tax processes
- Collaborate with external consultants and internal teams
- Prepare tax provisions for financial reporting
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and tech tools
