Job Description
- Top priority is to ensure safe completion of all tasks and keeping all related training up to date.
- Perform high volume, often routine Quality Control lab fiber pulling.
- Communicate results in a timely fashion to support the manufacturing. process.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
- Find backlog fiber in the warehouse or fiber storage areas
- Work with laboratory personnel and contacts to ensure supplies are maintained and instrument maintenance is appropriate for laboratory
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the lab and company (method evaluations, quality functions, quality assurance issues, housekeeping, etc.).
- Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and ensuring that spent materials are disposed of in appropriate receptacles on-site.
Skills Required
- Ability to use computers
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills in order to deal effectively with management
- Demonstrates self motivated attitude.
- Has full range of motion and ability to lift 20 lbs
- Ability to climb and ascend vertical ladders if required
Education / Training / Certifications
High school diploma
Additional Requirements
Shift : Morning and Afternoon shifts from 6-2 : 30 or 2 : 30 11 : 00
