Job Title : Special Education Teacher (9th Grade Inclusion)

Location : Georgetown, TX

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Position Overview : Solaint isseeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to lead our 9th Grade Inclusion program.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Autism. You will be responsible for managing a small caseload, ensuring personalized attention and support for each student.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students within the inclusion setting.
• Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Participate in team meetings, providing insights and strategies for student success.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience as a lead teacher in a special education classroom.
• Proven experience working with students with SLD and Autism.
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and IEP development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
