A successful multi-award-winning , internationally acclaimed design consulting firm based in Miami, Florida are looking to hire a Staff Project Manager. They specialize in upscale and innovative designs for pools, spas, water features, ponds, and extraordinary aquatic environments.
Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate / Senior Designer to lead and contribute to the design and execution of luxury aquatic projects. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for innovation, technical excellence, and creative leadership in high-end pool and water feature design.
You will work closely with our principal designers to conceptualize, develop, and oversee project delivery from start to finish, engaging directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts for pools, spas, water features, and aquatic environments and represent them in detailed construction documents.
- Produce design drawings, technical plans, and presentation materials including design drawings, site plans, plan layouts, sections, equipment isometrics, and lists.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communications.
- Lead design reviews and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and luxury standards while respecting budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with senior designers, project managers and principal to accurately translate design concepts into buildable plans.
- Revise and update drawings based on team feedback, redline reviews and project adjustments.
- Support the team and clients with 3D modeling, renderings, and client presentation materials.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.Genesis University coursework or certification (or a related recognized certificate) is highly preferred but not required.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in pool, spa, landscape, or water feature design.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD , SketchUp , Adobe Creative Suite, and / or 3D modeling software (skills will be tested).Strong creative design sense with excellent technical and construction knowledge.Outstanding communication, leadership, and project management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-facing environment.What It Takes to Succeed in This Role
