Trial Attorney

CareerConsulting Partners is working with an ambitious lemonlaw firm tofind an experienced Trial Attorney. This position will be out ofCentury City California.
The ideal candidate must have excellentanalytical organizational prioritization and time management skillsalong with the ability to work under tight deadlines and executeefficiently against multiple highpriority and highvolume projectsin a fastpaced environment.
Superior drafting and writing skills aswell as having the interest to analyze legal issues with asolutionbased mindset.
Responsibilities :
- Draftpleadings and motions (e.g. discovery and case dispositivemotions)
- Meetandconfer on discovery issues(e.g. ESI discovery)
- Pretrialpreparation
- Delegation and supervision ofdeadlines and tasks
- Take and defenddepositions
- Argue substantive motions incourt
- Independently manage your own caseload
- Ability to develop trial and pretrialstrategy
- Prepare litigation reports and riskassessments
- Engaging in discovery depositionsmotions practice and other pretrial procedures to prepare cases forhearings
- Preparing witnesses for examinationcrossexamining witnesses and responding to evidentiaryobjections.
- Attend hearings depositions andother court appearances
- Overseediscovery
- Applying case knowledge and legalskills when negotiating settlements
- Prepareargue and litigate a large roster ofcases
- Performing extensive technical and legalanalysis
- Perform other related duties and meetall deadlines asrequired
Requirements :
- 45Years of Trial Experience
- 510 First Chair JuryTrials
- Have a high degree of selfaccountabilityand ownership.
- Ability to interact andcommunicate with judges attorneys staff andclients.
- Enthusiasm for developing skills andexperience alongside an evolving business with innovativeideas.
- Experience with and adaptability to newtechnology and software applicationsystems.
CompensationandBenefits :
- Salary Compensation : $150000 $275000
