Job Summary and Qualifications
- Demonstrates compassion, respect and empathy while performing procedures.
- Prepares patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Obtains high-quality CT images.
- Maintains proactive and effective communication with patients and physicians regarding all findings, including patient histories and test results.
- Collaborates and confers with all colleagues.
Requirements
- Current ARRT (CT)
- Clear / active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of imaging experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and / or equipment up to 50 lbs.
