Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical deficiencies in assigned vehicles
- Troubleshoot and Repair Mechanical / Electrical deficiencies using accepted and published repair procedures
- Must be able of Mig, Tig, and Spot Weld
- Must be able to apply body filler to new car standards effectively
- Must be able to R & R glass
- Must be able to R & R body panels
- Must be able to Wet Sand
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Must be capable of carrying out specified work procedures and directions of supervisors
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following detailed instructions
- Advise of any workplace hazards
- Must be highly motivated and self-reliant to complete the company's goals
- Work in a team environment
- Perform other assignments as directed
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Graduation from high school, GED, or equivalent required
- Must be able to provide own tools
- Must be able to read and understand schematics / blueprints
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in person, by phone, or by radio
- Knowledge of current safety practices and understanding of the associated hazards with this position and ability to apply proper safety precautions, review instruction manuals and safety labels for all equipment and materials used for this position
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting and carrying up to lbs., frequently stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must possess a valid driver's license & drive manual and automatic transmissions
