Director of Land Surveying
My Client is a growing, well-established multidiscipline engineering firm seeking a Director of Land Surveying Department.

Responsibilities include :
- Managing and scheduling all survey field crews
- Proposal and contract preparation and review
- Performance of ALTA / NSPS land title surveys
- Boundary determination and computation
- Construction stakeout
- Topographic and hydro surveys
- Metes and bounds descriptions
Qualified Candidates should have :
- Must be a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Maryland
- The Director will be starting a new department from the ground up
- At least 15 years of experience running a department, bringing in new work, participating in business development, and managing a full staff of field crews
- Experience working for Maryland DOT, VDOT, DDOT, and other DMV area counties and municipalities
BS degree in Land Survey or a related college degree preferred
Ability to analyze and process boundary and ALTA surveys and prepare legal descriptions
Proficiency with RTK GPS and Robotic Total Stations
Must have proficiency with MicroStation
