Strategy Associate - Pneumococcal Access and Pricing
Summary :
This is a 40 hours per week 12-month consultant / research associate (RA) position in Pharmaceutical's Pneumococcal Vaccine Global Access Strategy and Pricing (GASP) Team.
The candidate for this role will support ongoing pricing and reimbursement assessments on Pharmaceutical's inline vaccine portfolio with a focus on Pneumococcal Vaccines.
The main focus will be to consolidate and track key metrics and KPIs including consolidation of key pricing, recommendation, and reimbursement information from over 100+ markets.
The candidate will also serve as the core project manager for the Pneumococcal GASP team.
Responsibilities :
Collaborates with cross-functional team members to ensure evidence is on strategy and is considered within key study outcomes.
Database analysis, primary market research, literature reviews, decision models, budget impact models, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, product strategic planning, and cost-effectiveness analyses may become part of scope depending on needs overtime.
The successful candidate will have ideally have a background in health policy, health economics, analytics, or business administration.
Ideally, experience working in a pharmaceutical environment would be preferred. *Intern experience included
Qualifications :
Minimum Masters or PhD degree is required in one of the following : epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, health policy, public health, health economics, economics, or equivalent graduate degree.
Basic competence with methodological approaches and tools in health services research is required, e.g., literature review, clinical data interpretation and claim data analysis
Knowledge of data science desirable
Knowledge of health economic methodologies desirable
Knowledge of international health systems, health technology assessment and pharmaceutical economics preferable
Experience with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written English communication skills required
