About the Role

TWE seeks an experienced Senior Director, Bold Brand Sales who will be responsible for establishing and delivering Treasury America’s annual goals across Bold Brands in the West Division.

In this leader role, you will be working with and through the Treasury America’s distributor partners, collaborating with internal partners and engaging with key customers in the market.

The ideal candidate will reside in the California market.

This role will be responsible for managing Distributor expectations and Go To market strategies while prioritizing and balancing TWE initiatives and local sales programs that deliver immediate sales.

You will build trust between our organizations by focusing on value and enabling alignment across our organizations. You will also be responsible for the supervision, direction and development of direct report(s).

You will be responsible for-

  • Building the annual market plan to deliver annual volume, distribution, and profit goals for the TWE portfolio.
  • Delivering gross profit, annual shipment / depletion, and distribution goals for the TWE portfolio.
  • Directing, monitoring and evaluating Distributors performance against TWE market budget / plan.
  • Developing distributor pricing and program strategies that deliver the market goals.
  • Negotiating pricing and margin with key distributor management.
  • You will be the technical expert (highly knowledgeable about a TWE’s brands)
  • You will be the relationship lead (good at building and strengthening relationships)
  • Collaborator (has strong team-building skills and knows how to draw on internal resources for success)
  • You are results driven (focused on growing the account)
  • You are an Innovator (able to synthesize information, identify opportunities and communicate to executives)
  • Project Manager (good at organizing the team and ensuring that work is completed)
  • You will work closely with distributor salespeople and management to execute programs efficiently & effectively.
  • You will educate Distributor sales personnel on the TWE Brand Portfolio and the brand standards we expect.
  • You will ensure distributor partners are managing compliance of National On & Off Premise account programs.
  • You will use market data to identify market opportunities, share this with the Distributor Sales Team.
  • You will undertake tastings and presentations to members of the trade and consumers; attend special promotions, such as wine tasting dinners, etc.

Participate in sales blitzes / crew drives in market.

You can effectively manage and use of merchandising, POS, and promotional materials and budgets.

About You

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years of professional outside wine / alcohol sales experience.
  • You must have three-tier management experience.
  • You have knowledge of wine, wine terms, and growing techniques. Passion for wine and the ability to continuously learn new wines and brands and represent effectively to customers.
  • You are computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), desktop publishing programs. Experience with Essbase and Pricer preferred.
  • You have a valid driver’s license.
  • Significant travel within assigned territory required.
  • You can lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have strong persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally or externally.
  • Must possess strong negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to meet objectives under sometimes-restrictive timelines.
  • You can manage tasks and to exercise independent judgment without supervision.
  • You are analytical with the ability to develop customer / distributor strategies, programs, and promotions based on competitive data to meet overall company objectives while meeting customer needs essential.
  • You are organized and show strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities essential.
  • You have high integrity and commitment and possess a strong work ethic.
  • You can work cooperatively as a member of a team (functionally, cross-functionally, across TWE and you are committed to the overall team objectives rather than your own interests.

Pay Transparency Disclosure : The base pay range offered for this position is $118,000 to $167,000 per year and a target bonus and other benefits.

These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.

Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in our target market listed above. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range.

Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
