The Territory Sales Consultant will be responsible for initiating sales and marketing calls in designated territory. Coordinates delivery of prescribed medical equipment.
Instructs patient and / or care giver on proper and safe use of prescribed equipment. Maintains company assets and processes and coordinates the smooth flow of patient information to and from the Thuasne North America corporate office while adhering to HIPPA regulations.
Duties / Responsibilities : Models the Core Values and the Mission Statement of Thuasne North America Markets company’s products to successfully meet / exceed company assigned quotas.
Performs scheduled In-services with physicians and therapists Delivers prescribed medical equipment Instructs patient and / or care giver on how to use prescribed equipment properly and safely Follows up with patients throughout their length of treatment Maintains a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance Manages referrals with the appropriate Sales Support Reps until billing confirmation is received Manages device inventory in conjunction with the inventory control team May have to communicate or interact with, assess, or treat Thuasne North America customers that may be : Pediatrics (1 - 17 years of age) Adults (18 - 64 years of age) Seniors (65 years or greater) Schedules deliveries, pick-ups, discontinuances, maintenances or changes in service Adheres to corporate compliance requirements and ensures any and all Patient Service Reps in territory perform the same.
Participates in all training programs on an ongoing basis Travel expectations averaging 1-2 overnights per week or approximately 30-40% overnight travel within the territory.

Competency is evaluated beginning on date of hire and will be verified after all job function and evaluation requirements are completed.
Additional tasks may be required as business needs dictate. Individual goal plans will be defined, and performance indicators may be modified as technologies and market conditions evolve.
Working Conditions : The working conditions of this position include overnight travel up to 40% of the time, standing / sitting at a desk, lifting product up to 50 lbs.
